The house, formerly an alpaca ranch, was purchased in late 2007. It had not been lived in for almost a year, and was in desperate need of landscaping and remodeling. The Garretts lovingly nicknamed it "The Project" for the sheer number of changes that they wanted to make to the home. From new paint to new bathrooms, the home was turned inside out to create the Inn that now resides.
